A new high-ticket program called Legendary Marketer has become the talk of the internet town lately. Everyone and their granny are hyping it up like it’s 2018’s Empower Network but let’s look a little deeper and see what it’s really about.
It’s becoming more and more difficult to do real research on a new program these days. If you try to search for Legendary Marketer review on YouTube you’ll be bombarded by hundreds of “reviews” from people who aren’t there to help you but pitch you their opportunity.
So if you’ve come here to get the full details on Legendary Marketer without being told how easy, sexy, crazy, cool, the program is you’ve landed at the right place.
I’m not a member of Legendary Marketer and you’ll see in a few why I chose to pass on it and did this.
The Story Behind Legendary Marketer
So it all starts back in early 2000 something with a company called Empower Network. This company was started by 2 very gifted internet marketers called David Wood and David Sharpe.
Empower had a 100% commission structure that was unheard of in the industry. Apart from some illegal cash-gifting scams no other program did something quite like this where the company made $0 from the commissions of members.
The company eventually went on to create many 100K earners and maybe even millionaires. However, in a few years, David Sharpe he’d had enough and decided to move on.
Little is known why he chose to walk away but, due to what came after, people have speculated that the 2 David’s had major differences of opinions.
After a quite long departure from marketing David Sharpe rose again to internet fame with his program Legendary Marketer. It’s only natural for people to now flock to this program being that David amassed such a great reputation online.
There is even a rebranding of the program called Duplicate Dave Sharpe that’s built to attract fans of Empower Network.
Legendary Marketer Products
The product suite of Legendary Marketer is basically a school for internet marketing success. There are training videos on YouTube marketing, creating your own brand online, traffic generation, and tons more.
All of the training is broken down into 8 products courses that increase in value the higher you go.
1. Legendary Marketer Club (costs $30 per month)
2. Traffic Rolodex (costs $47 one-time payment)
3. Invisible Influencer ($997 one-time)
4. Legendary Builder Masterclass ($2,500 one-time)
5. Legendary Leader Masterclass ($5,000 one-time)
6. Legendary Marketer Mastermind ($8,000 one-time)
7. Legendary Entrepreneur Mastermind ($12,000 one-time)
8. Legendary Lifestyle Experience ($30,000 one-time)
Products 1-5 are internet-based products that include training videos and marketer resources. Products 6-8 are actually live events that are held at different places around the US and the world.
At these events affiliates are presented more marketing training, self-empowerment workshops, and have the ability to network with other affiliates who have also attended bought the event ticket.
Most Legendary Marketer affiliates that attend these live events attend for the networking value. It’s really the perfect place to find other experienced leaders in the networking business industry.
Although there are pluses those high products costs aren’t available to everyone, obviously. I personally do not recommend a program like this to anyone. And having the experience myself with a high-ticket program, will never come near them again.
The Compensation Plan (big money)
As you saw above some of the top courses and events inside of Legendary Marketer can be a bit pricey. However, the commissions paid to affiliates are pretty chunky as well.
Here’s a picture of the compensation plan I found online:
The compensation seems to be lower than 50% though but still, for a top-marketer this could add up greatly. In my experience though, it’s not easy to make a $8,000 or $12,000 sale. Let alone (clearing my throat…) $30,000 sale.
And to put your skepticism to rest…yes, people do buy these $30K products. But when I tell you how you’ll be sick to your stomach. Please don’t throw up, It’s pretty disgusting though.
Who Is Legendary Marketer Really For?
As I said earlier I don’t recommend this type of business opportunity to anyone. Especially not someone who’s looking to add an extra $500 to $1000 a week starting out from their home.
There are many less risky ways to start generating that and slowly building it up to replace your job’s income.
Here’s who really join Legendary Marketer and all other high-ticket programs. They’re the super marketers who’ve been doing this since the 90’s. Have hundreds of thousands of dollars just sitting in the bank, have already started multiple offline business (probably failures).
Most top earners in high-ticket are already very successful people. They already know everything that has to be done. Their marketing capital is infinite compared to an average affiliate.
But here’s where it gets ugly. Most of the people that programs like this get promoted to are…you got it! Newbies! People like you, me, and 98% of the world. People who don’t have real estate investments bringing in cash on autopilot or have $100,000 sitting near the kitchen fruit basket at home waiting to be used for PPC traffic or something.
The sad part is that these marketers are targeting the average people who are trying to pay rent, go on a simple vacation, maybe change where their children go to school.
So it doesn’t take much to see what happens. Average people get lured in by the “wow, only $30 to start?!” and then little by little max out their credit card.
Please understand I’m not saying that this is the exactly model Legendary Marketer is following. However, it’s common knowledge that more than 99% of people don’t make their investment back when joining these types of programs.
And somehow they’ve found a way to slide under the government…another topic for another post.
My Personal Experience With High-Ticket.
OK, yes I admit. I got a little heavy on the section above. That’s only because of my experience with a program similar to the Legendary Marketer system.
Remember when I said wait until you here how people afford the top products in companies like Legendary Marketer?
I was once a member of a company similar to this one. I too had the idea that If I just sold a $2,000 product to 2-3 people a week I’d be floating.
The company at the time told us that we’d have a coach who’ll help us with our marketing and training. We were also told that the company had a sales team that will be making all our sales for us.
All the affiliate had to do is send traffic to the pages and let the system and sales team to the work. And also communicate with your coach everyday.
So hey why not, sounds like the perfect opportunity! Down goes my $3,000.
As soon I start attending the coaching sessions I realized something very disturbing. The “coaches” and the “sales team” are the same people.
I realized that these “leaders” were not there to coach beginners to success but to influence and convince people into buying higher-priced products.
Every coaching session was a 1-hour sales pitch into the $10,000 product level. And here’s the stomach churning part…they’d pushed and bullied average people to take out bank loans of $100,000 or more.
They’d convince homeowners to get a 2nd mortgage, sell that second car, ask your rich friends for the cash. I know this because the coaching sessions were done on skype.
Did this work though? Yes, I saw it with my own eyes. Regular people opening 4 credit cards just to afford the top product and pay for the “approved” marketing the company sold.
In all honesty, I came very close of doing the same. I thought well hey, this is how all businesses start isn’t it? With other people’s money.
I was so lucky that the week I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a major financial and life decision Digital Altitude got sued by the FTC.
That program is now out of business, however, all that money they took from innocent people is being held by the court system.
So, if you’re considering joining Legendary Marketer or any business that has big commissions like this definitely do your research and know exactly how you’re going to promote this and to who.
If you’re a person with at least a drop of conscience trust your gut and don’t join. Choose a program that’s doable for a first-day starter and can slowly be built into a job replacement income.
